Three Practice Areas

What we work on.

Independent, founder-friendly consulting. We work with companies from pre-revenue through mid-market — usually 1–100 employees, where the right structural decision compounds for years.

01 · Business Strategy

Where to point the company.

Market positioning, pricing, go-to-market structure, competitive analysis, and capital allocation decisions. We help you decide what to build, what to drop, and where the next dollar of effort earns the most.

  • Market & competitive landscape mapping
  • Pricing & packaging architecture
  • Go-to-market strategy
  • Build / buy / partner decisions
  • Board & investor narrative refinement
02 · AI Implementation

From AI curiosity to AI leverage.

Most companies are wasting their AI budgets on tools nobody uses. We help you identify the two or three workflows where AI actually changes the math, then design and pilot the implementation.

  • AI workflow audit & opportunity ranking
  • Tool selection & vendor evaluation
  • Prompt & agent architecture design
  • Integration with existing systems
  • Team training & adoption support
03 · Operational Efficiency

Less drag. More throughput.

Process design, internal tooling, reporting cadence, and the unglamorous infrastructure work that turns a busy company into a productive one. We focus on the changes you can implement in 90 days.

  • Workflow & process mapping
  • Internal tooling & automation
  • Reporting & KPI architecture
  • Vendor consolidation & renegotiation
  • Org structure for stage of growth
Important

What we don't do.

Steadfast Solutions consulting is general business advisory. To stay clearly on the right side of securities and licensing law, we do not provide:

Outside scope of consulting

  • Investment advice on what securities your company should buy, sell, or hold in its treasury or any other account.
  • Recommendations on personal investment portfolios (those belong on the Brief, Snapshots, or Reports side — impersonal publications).
  • Legal advice. We are not attorneys. For legal questions we refer you to qualified counsel.
  • Tax advice or tax-return preparation. We work with your CPA, not in place of one.
  • Accounting, audit, or bookkeeping services.

If a consulting engagement surfaces questions in any of these areas, we will say so clearly and refer you to the right kind of professional.

Three Engagement Models

Open pricing. Quoted in writing.

Pick the structure that fits how you want to work. Every engagement begins with a written scope and price — no surprises, no scope creep without a written change order.

Hourly
$175
per hour · one-hour minimum

For a focused conversation, a second opinion, or rapid-fire problem-solving. Pre-pay a block of hours and draw down against it.

  • Strategic sounding board on call
  • Quick decision frameworks
  • Second opinion on a major call
  • No minimum commitment beyond first hour
  • Recorded notes & written follow-up
Retainer
$3,500
per month · minimum 3 months

For ongoing partnership. Standing weekly call, async availability between, and a defined number of strategic deliverables per quarter.

  • Weekly 60-minute strategy call
  • Async Slack / email response < 24 hr
  • 1 strategic deliverable per month
  • Quarterly review & roadmap update
  • Pause or cancel after 3-month minimum

All prices are baseline starting points. For subjective, complex, or custom engagements, final pricing is adjusted to the scope and depth of your needs — quoted transparently before any work begins.

How It Works

From first conversation to first deliverable.

01

Discovery call (free, 30 minutes)

You tell us what's on your plate. We tell you whether we're the right fit, what we'd recommend approaching first, and which engagement model would suit. No pitch deck, no pressure — if we're not the right firm, we'll say so.

02

Written scope & engagement letter

Within 2 business days of the call, you receive a written scope outlining objectives, deliverables, timeline, milestones, and price. Sign the engagement letter and we begin within one week.

03

The work

For project engagements: milestone deliveries with embedded review sessions. For hourly: scheduled blocks with written notes and action lists. For retainers: a standing weekly call and the monthly deliverable cadence we set together.

04

Closeout & handoff

Final deliverable in PDF, a closing working session to walk through it, and a written 90-day check-in to see how implementation is going. We want our work to be used, not shelved.

Sample Engagements

What this can look like.

Illustrative project examples drawn from the kinds of engagements we structure.

Strategy · Project · ~$7,500

Series A-stage SaaS company: pricing & packaging overhaul.

Six-week engagement. Competitive pricing teardown, customer-segment interviews, value-metric analysis, three packaging options modeled, one selected and rolled out with a sales-enablement deck. Outcome: ACV uplift of 22% on new business in the first quarter post-launch.

AI Implementation · Project · ~$5,500

Family-owned services business: AI-augmented customer ops.

Four-week engagement. Mapped current customer-service workflow, identified four AI-leverageable steps, piloted a Claude-powered triage and draft-response system integrated with their CRM. Outcome: average response time down from 6 hours to 35 minutes; CSR capacity freed for high-value calls.

Operational Efficiency · Retainer · $3,500/mo

Founder-led professional services firm: structural cleanup.

Six-month retainer. Reporting architecture rebuilt, vendor stack consolidated (12 tools to 7), internal handoffs mapped and rewritten, hiring plan aligned to revenue stages. Outcome: founder time freed from operations by ~40% over the engagement.

Start with a discovery call.

Thirty minutes, no cost, no pitch. We'll tell you whether we're the right fit and what we'd recommend doing first.
